Year 5-8
LIT members continue to be part of their "cohort" even past high school graduation. Nationally less than 10% of student from low-income communities graduate from college, LIT knows we must ensure students who choose to attend college, have the support, skills and knowledge to persist and graduate.
LIT is responsive to the community because we believe in best fit and empower all students to have access to a college degree if they choose, but continue to support students even if college is not their chosen path. We believe in diverse leadership that empowers the community so our Postsecondary program supports students in college, career training or certificate programs as well as students who choose leadership by serving in the United States military. All Postsecondary members:
Participate in monthly zoom calls with their cohort
